Version 2.1 of this website has been released. There were lots of design updates but no new content was added this time.

A small side note: Today the domain chrom.de turned 18!

Thank you for all the “Likes” and comments on the various bands’ facebook pages. This is a valuable feedback.

Especially I want to thank the ProcessWire-Team for making this website the “Site of the week”. This is a reward for the technical and aesthetical aspect of a website, and is not about music, so this connects me to the present and my daily work.

ProcessWire is a modern, fast, first class Content Management System, so a lot of advanced software coders are working for and with it, worldwide. The listed “Site of the Week” websites are all top notch and show well what you can do with ProcessWire - from neat personal projects to even something like full blown university websites. If they mention our project, this means something.

The navigation inside of the website was improved:

• Browse artists within artist’s page
• Browse albums of an artist within albums page
• Selecting of other artists from within albums page
• Filtering of artists and releases with various criteria

It is done. After 10 years pausing, the Chrom Records website is online again - and will stay this time!

All available information from the former Chrom Records Website have been recovered. We added new header images which use old materials as collages.

Today we added this blog.

Next steps:

• Cleaning up of the texts and remove typing errors
• Use any still available cd booklets to find missing or wrong info on this website
• Make photographs of nice things from the Chrom Archives and put them online
• Team building for the maintenance and enhancement of the content
• Inviting guest writers for special subjects
