Four years after their success with the album “Indicator”, DEINE LAKAIEN are back with their new album CRYSTAL PALACE. It is the tenth studio album of the legendary band formation around Ernst Horn and Alexander Veljanov and being a completely electronic production relates more than ever to the musical beginnings of the successful band.

Though forgoing guest musicians for the production of the album, the duo worked as ever: From the idea at the beginning through handmade sounds to the final master, DEINE LAKAIEN produce all by themselves and n their own. This autonomous way of working results in a strong continuity and a certain independence and, furthermore, it forms the fundament of the exceptional success of the avant-garde duo that is visible not only in a band history of 30 years and their vast, heterogeneous fan base.

The lyrics of the ten songs found on CRYSTAL PALACE are less political but still address profound issues wrapped in enchanting sounds. A complete own world is built, where hope exists next to gravity and thoughtfulness. And often overlooked: well-measured irony.
